Nexus Arena utilizes Google Sign-In (Google Authentication) to provide users with a secure, passwordless authentication experience.

Data Accessed: When you authenticate using Google Sign-In, we request access strictly to basic profile information provided by Google, including your primary email address, full name, and profile picture URL (where made available by Google).

Purpose of Use: Your Google profile data is used exclusively to create your Nexus Arena account, verify your identity, allow you to log into the platform securely, and protect against duplicate or fraudulent accounts.

Scope & Restrictions: Nexus Arena DOES NOT request, access, read, store, or transmit data from any unrelated Google services such as Gmail messages, Google Drive files, Google Contacts, Google Calendar, or location history. Data obtained through Google Sign-In is never sold, leased, or shared with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

3. Information We Collect

To operate our esports tournaments and provide platform functionality, we collect the following categories of information:

A. Account & Identity Information

  • Google Account Data: Name, email address, and profile photo provided via Google OAuth authentication.
  • In-App Profile Data: In-game player name, Game UID (e.g., Free Fire UID / BGMI Character ID), and phone number if voluntarily submitted during profile onboarding.
  • Age Confirmation: Self-declared age verification to enforce our 18+ eligibility requirement.

B. Gameplay & Tournament Data

  • Match participation records for Solo, Duo, and Squad tournaments.
  • In-game statistics, match results, kills, placement scores, room entry records, and leaderboard rankings.

C. Wallet & Transaction Records

  • Records of tournament entry fees, claimed prize winnings, wallet balance ledger, and payout withdrawal requests.
  • Payment transaction references (processed via secure third-party payment gateways; we do not store full credit/debit card details).

D. Technical & Security Information

  • Device details including IP address, operating system version, device model, app version, and unique device identifiers.
  • Security logs, anti-cheat diagnostics, crash logs, and network performance data.

4. How We Use Your Information

We process your personal information for the following specific operational purposes:

  • User Authentication: Authenticating your identity via Google Sign-In and maintaining your user session.
  • Tournament Operations: Facilitating match room assignments, score calculation, leaderboard updates, and prize distribution.
  • Wallet & Payout Processing: Processing eligible wallet deposits, calculating winnings, and executing payout withdrawal requests.
  • Fair Play & Anti-Cheat Operations: Monitoring match rooms for unauthorized mods, hacks, emulator bypasses, fraud, and fair-play violations to ensure competitive integrity.

  • Legal & Operational Compliance: Enforcing our Terms of Service and satisfying applicable legal obligations.

5. Service Providers & Backend Infrastructure

We work with trusted cloud and infrastructure service providers to operate Nexus Arena securely:

  • Supabase: Used for secure cloud database hosting, user authentication token management, database queries, and backend application services.
  • Google Identity Services: Used as our primary OAuth 2.0 identity provider for user authentication.
  • Payment & Payout Partners: Third-party payment gateways and banking services used to process entry payments and process user payouts.

All service providers are bound by strict operational and security standards and are authorized to handle user data solely for the purposes of delivering backend services to Nexus Arena.

6. Data Security & Retention

We employ industry-standard technical measures to safeguard your information, including HTTPS encryption for data in transit, secure OAuth 2.0 token handling, and access-controlled cloud databases via Supabase.

We retain your personal information as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide tournament services, comply with accounting and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

7. Account & Data Deletion Request Process

Nexus Arena respects your right to control your personal data. You may request the permanent deletion of your Nexus Arena account and associated personal data at any time.

Verification & Timeline: Please send the request from the Google email address registered with your Nexus Arena account. Upon verification, your account, personal details, and in-app profile records will be permanently erased or anonymized within 14 business days, except where retention is required by applicable law or active financial audit requirements.

8. Minors & Children's Policy (18+ Requirement)

Nexus Arena is strictly intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal information from individuals under the age of 18.

If we discover that a user under 18 has created an account or provided personal details, we will promptly terminate the account and purge the associated data. Parents or legal guardians who believe their child has registered an account should contact us immediately at booyahbattle.esports@gmail.com.
